The reserved seating is definitely an improvement, no more fumbling around in the dark trying to find a "good" seat. The new remodel is amazing with these big comfy seats that recline and armrests that move up so it doesnt feel tight or cramped. I had stopped going to the movies completely when my friend gave me a gift card to this place. I still have no answer to my question and I just have to hope that the seats I want are still available when I get to the box office.Ībsolutely wonderful. How can it be after business hours at 7pm on a Wednesday when there are way more movies showing? It wasnt even like I called a 1800 number. After listening to that message for a full minute, it tells me that they are either too busy or I called after business hours and also hangs up. Once I press the button for the operator, another automated message plays in attempt to make me go online. There is an extremely long automated message that tries to deter people calling and then it hangs up if you dont press the button for the operator quick enough. In order to figure out this possibility, I called the theater itself to find out what I can do. I was late for a movie and was given a re-admit pass but it doesnt seem like I can buy tickets online using the code. While I enjoy the seating options and appreciate reserving a seat ahead of time, the phone customer service is atrocious. I used to really like coming here before the remodel, but every time I come now, its completely full hours ahead of the start time, or somethings broken and they dont do anything about it. Im not sure how it works, but the seating system should be organized so that the remaining seats would be in one area. The seating system used is obviously not working, if theres a ton of open seats all spread out in random places. There were about a dozen or so seats left, but not a single pair next to each other. The 4th time, I went hours before the movie I wanted to see to get tickets early, to make sure I got in. There werent really any staff there to say what was happening. The third time, I think the place was on fire? Everyone was standing outside and couldnt go in. The second time, the projector broke for the movie I wanted to see, and since it was the last showing I couldnt see it at all. The first time, they were sold out of every movie for the rest of the night. The seating at AMC is not only more comfortable but there is also lots of elbow room, and you dont have to stand or even lower your legs for people to walk by you.Įvery time Ive been here within the past year, I havent been able to see a movie. But anyway back to AMC its the only theater I go to at all for the past two years except for the occasional drive-in on Transit. Regals reward card used to be nice you get earn free movie passes, free drinks, candy and popcorn but now you cant, as well a couple years back they went to buying the cheapest crap popcorn Ive ever had, and believe me I bitched about that all the time to the managers. Love that you can butter your own pop-corn, get your own drink and do love the $10 credit you get after so many dollars spent before hand. Dont get me wrong I definitely do love the remodel though I wish that reclining button was on the outside end of the chair arm instead of where it is because my thigh always hits it and the recliner goes down on me all the time. Right after the remodel you could walk in and get a nice comfortable reclining seat and sit where you were most comfortable, but after all the general public caught wind of the remodel I know better than to just go there without pre-ordering a ticket only thats only way you can still get a seat you want. And as far as that goes that is still my policy, but Monday thru Thursday damn skippy I go on those day and only there since they did do that remodel summer of 2013. I started watching movies way before they ever had the remodel done, though back then I hardly did go there because the had a full rate during all day and night Friday, Saturday as well as Sunday so I did stay clear of the place on those days.
